Is WhizPDF really free?
Yes. Every tool works without an account and without daily conversion caps. Free usage includes files up to 100 MB and 3 OCR conversions per day. Pro adds unlimited OCR, batch processing and priority processing.
Do I need an account?
No. Conversions work without signing up. An account only adds saved conversion history and the option to upgrade to Pro.
What happens to my files?
Files are processed only to perform your conversion and are deleted from our servers immediately afterwards. We never read, analyze, share or sell your documents.
Is there a file size limit?
Free usage covers files up to 100 MB per file. Pro keeps the same generous 100 MB limit and adds unlimited OCR, batch processing and priority processing.
Can WhizPDF handle scanned documents?
Yes. Scanned pages are detected automatically and routed through OCR, so the result is real, editable text rather than a picture.
Why is my converted file not perfectly formatted?
PDF files store appearance, not structure, so complex layouts are rebuilt by approximation. Our guide on converting PDF to Word without losing formatting explains what to check and which settings to use.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The tools run in any modern mobile browser - no app install required.
How do I cancel Pro?
Cancel any time from your account page or by emailing support. Cancellation stops future charges immediately; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.
Which formats are supported?
More than 40 conversion paths across PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and common image formats, plus merge, split, compress, protect and watermark tools.
